desired purpose, because if you look at the rows you get the pairs inverted
from one another. We used to ring a similar concept at Manchester Uni lunchtime
handbell practices in the 1970s. We called it something like Cambridge Pair Jump
Maximus (CPJM), and it allowed non handbell ringers to ring handbells almost
straight away with brilliant musical effect – perfect for an impressive dinner
day touch. Every pair would reverse at handstroke and backstroke, always
ringing in an adjacent pair position i.e.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

method by inserting plain hunt to move the bells through adjacent places.
However, the double dodge in winked methods causes the pairs to be reversed. An
alternative to the double dodge is to make four blows, then every 4<sup>th</sup>
